HUMBERT Agnès TYPED SIGNED LETTER and HANDWRITTEN SIGNED LETTER, PARIS 1950
Autographed letter and typed letter signed and dated October 15, 1950 in Paris. Two interesting letters and their envelope addressed to Marko Ristic. The first letter is a signed autographed letter on blue paper on one page in which Agnès informs her correspondent that he must carefully read the second letter because she wishes to make a request. The second letter is typed (typed by machine) and signed by hand on the letterhead of the France-Yugoslavia association. Agnès Humbert asks if it would be possible to "conclude the arrangements" proposed concerning the study trip for Daniel Florentin, a chemical engineer. She mentions a "goal" they wish to achieve and that delaying the trip would harm the achievement of this goal. She also mentions being aware of matters she should not, "officially," know as well as political reasons that motivate this trip. Stamped and franked envelope without any missing stamps. Marko Ristic was a Serbian poet, writer, advertiser, and surrealist ambassador. Agnès Dorothée Humbert, born on October 12, 1894 in Dieppe, died on September 19, 1963 in Paris, was a French art historian and resistance fighter.
