Rare signed autograph letter to Armand Godoy, Foch, 1929. From Yvon Lapaquellerie, addressed to Armand Godoy, regarding his work in memory of Marshal Ferdinand Foch, dated August 15, 1929. Dear Sir, Thank you for not forgetting me, and I am very touched to receive, along with your dedication, the magnificent poem that Foch inspired in you. Initially involved in the Cuban tobacco trade, he changed language at the age of forty to become a French poet "in the language of Baudelaire" and settled in Paris in 1919. Ferdinand Foch, born on October 2, 1851, in Tarbes, Hautes-Pyrénées, and died on March 20, 1929, in Paris, is a general, marshal of France, and a member of the Académie française.
