SARCEY (Madeleine, known as Yvonne). Two signed autograph letters on the letterheads of the two institutions founded by the critic Yvonne Sarcey. In the first, she warmly thanks her correspondent for their interest in the lectures and provides information about those devoted to music. The second is a thank-you card to one of the women working with her children’s charity.

Yvonne Sarcey, daughter of the critic Francisque Sarcey, founded the Université des Annales in 1905 and “Les Maisons claires,” an association supporting war orphans.
