Signed Autograph Letter from Théodore Botrel 1923. His photo and a signed dedication on the front of the program "Long live your radiant Burgundy.. Glory to our eternal France, Botrel." The letter is dated 20-01-1923: "Dear sir; Thank you! As a humble rustic bard, I will never have academic ambitions, but if I have only had the honor of being a laureate of the Institute of Paris, thanks to the attendance token you offer me, I will at least have the illusion of having sat once in one of the chairs of the Academy of Mâcon.
It is false, one might say. And they will add with a smile: false as a token. The illusion is enough for poets!
