ROMBERG Maurice AUTOGRAPH SIGNED LETTER, NEUILLY SUR SEINE, 1921

  

Autographed letter signed and dated May 14, 1921, Neuilly-sur-Seine. The letter is two pages long and addressed to his "dear Robin" to thank him, firstly, for his invitation to the artistic cinema of Morocco but also to reproach him for taking color photographs of "the excellent paintings of our mutual friend" without reproducing some of his own, as some of the photographs did not show his paintings. He then wonders why he was excluded. DE VAUCORBEIL (1861/62-1943) is an artist born in 1861/62. The oldest recorded auction on the site is a work sold in 1989 at Sotheby's (painting) and the most recent is a work sold in 2021 (painting).
