Reynaldo Hahn, born on August 9, 1874 in Caracas and died on January 28, 1947 in Paris, was a French composer, conductor, singer, and music critic of Venezuelan origin, who was Marcel Proust’s closest companion. Marcel Proust, born on July 10, 1871 in Paris and died on November 18, 1922 in the same city, was a French writer whose main work is the novel sequence In Search of Lost Time, published between 1913 and 1927.
