Lot of an autograph letter signed by Pierre Lecuire addressed to André Malraux, dated February 13, 1973, and a typed letter signed by Sophie de Vilmorin addressed to Pierre Lecuire in reply, dated February 15, 1973, with its stamped and postmarked envelope. Pierre Lecuire asks André Malraux to come and see "an unusual exhibition presenting the attempt at the total expression of a poet." Sophie de Vilmorin replies to Pierre Lecuire that André Malraux "will not be able to attend the exhibition because he is overloaded with obligations; his convalescence still requires him to rest a great deal.
