Pancrace BESSA - SIGNED AUTOGRAPH LETTER, 1905 in Écouen. Signed autograph letter addressed to a certain Florent Prevot, a naturalist at the museum in Paris (possibly Florent Prevost, a naturalist and illustrator), dated June 25, 1840. He informs him that he will not be able to visit him tomorrow, Friday, but he will have the honor of seeing him next Tuesday around 9:30 am. He thanks him for the interest he has shown and congratulates his brother. Pancrace Bessa is one of the few painters who settled in Écouen, long before the birth of the artists' colony (École d'Écouen) founded by Pierre-Édouard Frère in the 1860s.

He is buried in the cemetery of Écouen. It brought together several dozen personalities from around the world, who taught and practiced their art there and also built workshops.
