Two postcards & five beautiful handwritten and signed letters to the poet Fernand Gregh. Jeanne Mette was initially married to Louis Alexandre Boussac, with whom she had two sons, including Marcel Boussac. She divorced after nine years, in 1895, and remarried two years later to Catulle Mendès, with whom she had a son: Jean Primice Catulle-Mendès.

In 1922, she founded the Primice Catulle Mendès Prize, the Catulle-Mendès Prize, and the Verhaeren Prize.
