See photos for more details. Madeleine Lemaire, born Jeanne Magdelaine Colle, was a French painter, illustrator, and salonnière, born on May 24, 1845 in Les Arcs and died on April 8, 1928 in Paris.

She was one of the models who inspired the character of Madame Verdurin in Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time. Careful packaging in a rigid and waterproof package.
