Firstly, he wishes for him to agree to present a short conference on Georges Rouault before the students of the scholasticate of theology in Chevilly, as part of their training in modern art and particularly in religious painting. He then presents the case of a student who has created images that he intends to have printed: Deiss asks Abbé Morel for a confidential opinion on their artistic value and the appropriateness of a possible publication, specifying that neither he nor his colleagues are specialists in this matter.
