He specifies that this request is made “without fee,” seeking above all imperial recognition and the “seal of approval” for his latest work.

Louis-Pierre Anquetil, born in Paris in 1723 and died on September 5 or 6, 1806, was a French historian.
He was the first Emperor of the French, from May 18, 1804 to April 6, 1814, and from March 20 to June 22, 1815, under the name Napoleon I.
