"I learn that there is currently talk at the Ministry of the Interior about some works to be given to painters as encouragements, I come, Sir, to remind you of this young lady and to recommend her to your kindness." The painter Adèle Capron (born in 1816) is referenced during her lifetime in a few exhibition catalogs.
