Louis Baudry de Saunier SIGNED AUTOGRAPH LETTER TO Georges Montorgueil 1895
A signed autograph letter from Louis Baudry de Saunier, addressed to Georges Montorgueil, dated July 25, 1895, written in black ink on a double sheet with embossed letterhead of his name and address. Montorgueil,
I take the liberty of reaching out to you based on the good relationship we had in the past, during the time of the Revue des Sports directed by René de Knyff, to send you this note. I took it upon myself as an honor and pleasure to send you yesterday my volume "Le Débutant," recently published by Dentu.
In it, I have tried to outline one of the most serious and painful subjects currently at hand, namely the necessity of a revolution in our modern education system, which produces so many failures!
I dare hope that the brevity of these pages will allow you to read them, and that your keen intellect will be willing to approve them.
It is unnecessary to add that if your vigorous pen could write a few lines about it, I would hold no grudge against you!
Warm regards, my dear sir.
