Deputy of Gard, member of the Council of Five Hundred. Autographed letter signed by Leyris, deputy of Gard. In Paris on the 29th of Fructidor, year 6 (September 15, 1798). 2 and a quarter pages on a folio of 4 pages (20 cm x 15.5).
"The representative of the People, Leyris to the Minister of War" regarding the transfer of General Petit Guillaume's staff to Montpellier. A politician of the revolution, he was, among other roles, the secretary of the Constitution in 1793 and a member of the Council of Five Hundred in 1798.
