My dear Deblois, I learned with great pleasure of your nomination to the Legion of Honor. I come to congratulate you and shake your hand with the expression of all my sympathy. Julien Dupré was a French painter born on March 18, 1851 in Paris and died in the same city on April 15, 1910. Charles Théodore Deblois, born in Fleurines on June 6, 1851 and died in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés on June 15, 1907, was a French engraver.
