This letter recounts the fact that the painter, Joseph-Paul Meslé, missed an exhibition in Bordeaux because: I did not receive the invitation mentioned in your letter of February 4 at all. Meslé concludes by expressing his gratitude for the invitation and his intention to better prepare for his participation the following year: Next year I will prepare in advance as I take good note of your flattering invitation. 17.5 x 11 cm.
