Jean Genet Autograph Letter Signed Jean-louis Barrault High Supervision
Signed autograph letter addressed to the comedian jean-louis barrault. "The copy you have of high surveillance is the only one that is corrected. I would need it for the edition of the play." Jean genet asks his correspondent to hand over this copy to Christian marquet who will bring it to him. The play was published in 1947, 1949, 1965 in final form and then in 1988 (last published version). Haute-surveillance was staged in 1970 by Alexander Arcady at the rector theatre in Paris in a production by the renaud-barrault company.
