Jarry Raymond Queneau / Signed Autograph Letter / Alfred Jarry / Pleiade
Autograph letter signed "Queeneau" [to michel arrived] s. L, on August 9, 1964, a page in-8, header of the nrf left upper margin very slightly blurred. Interesting letter in which raymond queneau is the intermediary for the publication of Alfred jarry's works to the editions of the pleiade. I should of course have responded much earlier to your letter (very interesting) of 11 December, but it was only recently that I obtained from raymond gallimard which deals especially with the classics of pleiade (I do not deal with it, only with encyclopedia) a relatively favourable answer.
Which is to say that, if you have the leisure time, there is a chance (small but not zero) that a plan carefully drawn up by you will lead to the realization of a jarry volume in this honoured collection. It gives you great responsibilities, sir. Please believe, dear real listener, in the expression of my best feelings.
