Jacques Prevert Beautiful signed collage card 1965

  

Minor blemishes in the upper right corner. Postcard featuring a reproduction of an original collage by Jacques Prévert titled "Portrait of Paul Roux." Paul Roux (not to be confused with the painter, watercolorist, and engraver of the same name who died in 1918) was the owner of the famous inn La Colombe d'Or in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Close to Prévert, he welcomed Picasso, Matisse, Léger, Calder, Braque, Chagall, and many others in his establishment. Card size: 14 x 10 cm.
