Ignace Joseph PLEYEL (1757 - 1831) - Composer, music publisher, and piano maker, founder of the Pleyel company. Signed autograph letter addressed to "Monsieur Fabre d'Olivet, at his home." 1 page on a double sheet of gray-blue paper, with address.

Rare autograph piece from the famous piano maker, wishing to introduce his compositions. "Pleyel wishes to have the honor of seeing Mr. Fabre d'Olivet and to inform him that tomorrow, Thursday evening at 7 o'clock, he will be trying out new quartets of his composition at his house on rue neuve de petits champs opposite the treasury.

He would be delighted if Mr. Fabre d'Olivet would do him the honor of being among the listeners." Good condition, trace of an old tab on the back of the second sheet, see photos.
