Autograph letter signed, addressed to Léopold Lacour, undated. Written in black ink on a sheet of vellum paper. “My deepest regrets that your candidate was not rewarded, and please accept my best regards.

Addressed to a friend, dated January 15, 1912. Written in black ink on a double sheet of laid paper. “My dear friend, I saw Réjane yesterday in her dressing room, where I spent the evening. The manuscript was there, and I took the opportunity to read her myself certain scenes from the last act.” Dimensions: 12.2 x 16.7 cm.

Number of pages: 2 pages. Written in black and blue ink on two sheets of watermarked vellum paper, joined with tabs. Concerning his play L'homme à la Rose. Dimensions: 19.7 x 26.9 cm. Henry Bataille was a French playwright, poet, and lithographer born in Nîmes on April 4, 1872, and died on March 2, 1922, in Rueil-Malmaison, at his property, Le Vieux Phare.
