Dear Duke, I have received the letter that you had the honor of writing to me on March 19th, to inform me of the movements that took place in Dalmatia, and of the measures that you deemed necessary to ensure the means of transport, by creating a company of 80 Pandours, and four transport brigades of 500 packhorses, and 400 oxen each. I have informed His Excellency the Minister Director of the War Administration of these various measures, inviting him to give the necessary orders concerning him, to provide for these expenses, in order to ensure the service.
