Handwritten letter signed by Kleber Haeden, on letterhead paper from his address, dated January 30, 1967. I remember very well our expedition to Franchard, in which Jean Bernier also participated.

I had only seen Galtier Boissière once in Barbizon after the operation that cost him a leg. He had his usual wit, but still spoke of his imminent death. Your letter is a bit melancholic, but I am still happy to know who accompanied Galtier to the end. Allow me to momentarily depart from the memory of our deceased friends to send you all our best wishes. May the year 67 be for you a splendid forest of rare essences.
