Autographed letter signed dated April 18, 1859. Three-page letter addressed to an acquaintance in which he discusses his project: writing a work about Queen Hortense. He has grand ambitions for this project. Dimensions: 13.5 x 20.7 cm. Condition: Very good conservation condition. Henri Gérard is a French politician born on March 22, 1818 in Orléans and died on April 9, 1903 in the 8th arrondissement.
