For this, he addresses one of his colleagues: "I left for you at the office of the illustrated newspaper, a copy of the book that I have just published know yourself, notions of physiology for the use of youth and the people of the world. I would be very happy if the illustrated newspaper wanted to devote an article to this work and publish some engravings as a specimen of his illustration. The book in question appeared the following year at a hatchet with numerous illustrations from Gilbert Massard.
