On the front of the second panel: 1 etching signed. 13.5 x 11 cm. An autograph note on the first panel: 2 pages. He sends his best wishes for the year 1953: "May the journey of 1953 be without storms and above all without shipwreck." He mentions an exhibition of Daniel-Girard at his place.

He has not returned to the Winter Salon after the opening. Other commitments, particularly an exhibition in Laon, have not left him a moment of freedom. Furthermore, he writes: "As soon as the weather is bad, I avoid exposing my back to the elements" and specifies that he is not vaccinated against the cold.
