Beautiful signed autograph letter from the composer Emmanuel Chabrier to the librettist Jules Claretie, 1 page dated January 30, 1879. A testament to the difficult collaboration between the two men in the context of the projected composition of the opera "La Girondine" (which ultimately never came to fruition due to Claretie's inaction), and to the composer's annoyance.
