Autograph letter signed by Max-Pol Fouchet, dated March 18, 1958, with a handwritten address at 2 bis, rue de Bièvre, VIe, and telephone number Odéon 99-74. Addressed “Dear friend,” it accompanies a copy of another letter and contains a particularly interesting remark: Mr. Fouchet mainly refers to the reactions caused by the censorship of “Fil de la Vie” and adds in a note, “I received, as my only share, more than a thousand protests.

” The letter ends with “Affectionately yours,” followed by the signature Max-Pol Fouchet. CONDITION: Well-worn condition: many folds, irregular edges with small tears and minor losses along the margins, paper weakened by age. Text and signature well preserved.
