Autographed letter signed addressed to Mr. Beaumont on Vèze, December 6, 1910. Header of the Château de Ribonnet.
"Here I am back home. I suppose you must have recovered from your indisposition. Thank you for giving me news of the manuscript, and I am delighted to learn that these gentlemen have a favorable disposition towards it. As for the smear campaign, you know the authors; they are working against their country and not against me.If it weren't for the regret of not having been able to complete my military aviation work, I would not pay it any attention. You know that 'l'Auto' is collecting testimonials; however, if you can defend the good cause of French Aviation on occasion, I would be very grateful.
I have sent a brochure to Mr. Viallette; I sincerely hope it is useful to him. It contains the correspondence with the then Minister of War; one could say it is unpublished, as it has not yet been addressed. I regret that I cannot send him anything else.
