Camille MAUCLAIR Autographed letter signed M. Rastislav Stefanik Czechoslovakia
Addressed to an editorial manager of the journal. An astronomer, politician, general, and Slovak diplomat, he was one of the co-founders of the Czechoslovak Republic.
He wishes to pay tribute to this man, "whose life has been since 1914 - since his commitment as a simple soldier in our ranks - the most incredible epic one could dream of." It was at the same time the most frightening metaphysical and aesthetic spirit.
