Elected to the Academy of Sciences in 1834, David, a member of the Institute, Paris, January 2, s. The word that Brongniart adds to his letter is intended to replace a legal visit note to the Manufacture. David could have easily been taken to the workshops by introducing herself. This is added by the scientist who, however, wishes to further simplify things for her.
