Dated February 5 (year unspecified) - Unknown recipient (my dear friend) - A moving letter from Vincent Auriol where he explains that he is without resources and walled up in Muret... (This could correspond to the year 1941 when he was placed under house arrest by the Vichy regime) Vincent Auriol (1884 / 1966) was a deputy, minister, and President of the Republic from 1947 to 1954. He was a pillar of the SFIO. Arrested at the same time as Léon Blum, he was able to join the resistance in 1942. Feel free to check my other items offered.
