Signed autograph sent on a cut page (colophon) of Paludes (Treatise on Contingency), 1895. Format in-8 (16.5 x 20 cm). The page comes from the limited edition on Holland (copy no. Emile Benus / Homage / André Gide". Followed by a quote from Virgil: "Sit Tityrus Orpheus", an epigraph taken from the eighth eclogue of the Bucolics.
