André Joseph Géraud Abbal, born on November 16, 1876 in Montech and died on June 20, 1953 in Carbonne, was a French sculptor. He gained renown for his sculptures in direct stone carving. Charles Lapause, known as Henry Lapauze, born in Montauban on January 31, 1867 and died in Paris on April 9, 1925, was the curator of the Palais des Beaux-Arts.
