Written in black ink on a sheet of laid paper with watermark and mourning border. In this letter, addressed to Arthur Fontaine, mining engineer, future director of the Labour Office, and a close friend of Samain, Albert Samain thanks him for his invitation and confirms that he will be present the following Saturday, while asking him to convey his respects to a certain “Madame Fontaine.” Dimensions: 11.5 x 17.8 cm.
