Signed autograph letter, addressed to the doctor and poet Henri cazalis (jean lahor), on Tuesday [April 4, 1889] (postmark). Mallarme evokes in a few lines villiers de lisle-adam and maupassant: \He regrets not being able to accede to the request of his correspondent because he has already invited a friend.
