Signed autograph letter, Decorative ceramics, 1884. French architect, ceramicist, sculptor, and decorator.
Signed autograph letter from Léon Parvillée, addressed to Mr. About, dated October 16, 1884 in Paris. I cannot thank you enough for the service you provide me by allowing me to forever justify the priority of our applications of gold under cover.
As our friend Heller announced to me this morning, you agree to give me back the piece that I offered you in 1876. I am grateful for this and also thank you for allowing me to use it in my name for the needs of our cause. If I had deprived you without... I would be ungrateful and selfish. My best feelings demand that I find a hospitable corner at your place.
So do not be surprised to see a special piece arriving soon asking for asylum. Thank you again and best regards. Dimensions: 20.3 x 26.6 cm. Condition: Very fragile and brittle paper. Several paper losses without affecting the text.
Tears at the paper folds. See photos for more details.
