Signed autograph letter from Friedrich Max Müller of 4 pages, written in English in black ink on double vellum paper with letterhead of his address in Oxford, dated April 5, 1873, addressed to an old friend ("My dear old Friend"). In which he mentions his daughter "my daughter", he talks about a letter received from Sir Henry P. indicating that the Queen could accept his gift. In England, I received a letter from Sir Henry P. arguing that the Queen could accept my gift, he also mentions an idea from his correspondent that he finds excellent.
