Daughter of Joseph Bonaparte and Marie-Julie Clary, she married Napoleon Louis (Paris, 1804 - Forli, 1831), son of Louis Bonaparte (his brother Charles Louis Napoleon would become Napoleon III). That same year, 1829, Léopold Robert met Prince Napoleon and his wife Charlotte Bonaparte, of whom he was madly in love.
