Two signed autograph letters to Artaud de Montor, 1837 and 1938. Lot of two signed autograph letters from Jean-Baptiste Roques.

Addressed to Alexis-François Artaud de Montor. 1/ Undated signed autograph letter. Written in brown ink on a double sheet of vellum paper, stamped from 1837. I do not know any more than you what day the annual meeting, which used to take place on St. Louis Day, is supposed to be.

But I will find out on Tuesday and I will make sure to tell you. A thousand tender greetings this Sunday.

"Dear good friend, So you want me to eat you up as soon as I arrive in Paris? I warn you that I will arrive next Friday and that I will be at your place at 6 o'clock. We will go in the evening, if you like, to see our friends at number 73.

" Dimensions: 13 x 20 cm. Number of pages: 2 pages. Jean-Alexis-François Artaud de Montor, born on July 21, 1772, in Paris where he died on November 12, 1849, was a French diplomat, historian, translator, and collector.
