Alexandra David-Neel was a French explorer, journalist, writer, Freemason, anarchist, and anthropologist, born on October 24, 1868, and died on September 8, 1969. She is the first Western woman to have entered Tibet, disguised as a Chinese monk.

The letter is written in black fountain pen on beige paper, featuring a vertical and horizontal central fold (see photos). On the first page, at the top left, there is a handwritten note in red pencil: "Mme David Neel (correspondence)." It is accompanied by a printed business card in the name of Alexandra David-Neel with two handwritten notes, one in ink, "André Lebon," and the other in pencil, "Mission de l'inst...
